Hua Mulan is a heroine who joined an all-male army, described in a famous Chinese poem known as the Ballad of Mulan. The poem was first written in the Musical Records of Old and New from the 6th century, the century before the founding of the Tang Dynasty; the original work no longer exists, and the original text of this poem comes from another work known as the Music Bureau Collection, an anthology of lyrics, songs, and poems, compiled by Guo Maoqian during the 12th century. The author explicitly mentions the Musical Records of Old and New as his source for the poem. Whether she was a historical person or whether the poem was an allegory has been debated for centuries—it is unknown whether the story has any factual basis.

I’ve installed 7zip today just to see if it would work with split files and it did. So now I’m happy that I can watch this film too.
Is there a difference in creating split files with different programmes, btw? Cause when I DLed from other sites like this and they had split files, Total Commander just joined them as I hit enter on the file name, but not with files from YC. Strange… Anyway, happy that the film is working!

It’s not working.
I know how to open split files, so that’s not it. My pc keeps saying the .001 file is corrupted. I have downloaded both parts again just to make sure, but it still won’t work. Anybody help?

I downloaded both parts. Use 7zip to attract, open the file, and i worked for me. Please make sure both parts are downloaded and use 7zip, if that still does not work, i have no idea what’s wrong on you end but the file does work.
you can’t open split files with winrar. you need HJsplit or 7zip. I highly recommend 7zip because it can deal with all zip/rar/ etc compression files AND it can deal with all split files.
FAQ has a link for 7zip. good luck
umm i dont think it corrupt but i still cant opean it i tried to use winrar but it didnt come up with a extract button just a add to and compress

I’m glad you figured it out! This is because those movie files are over 1GB. I have to split it into twos in order to let free users of MU to download. If it is over 1GB, free users can’t download it.

Mulan movie file is NOT corrupt, for a couple of reason. One I donwloaded and test myself and it works. Two, over 700 people have downloaded the movie and no complaints of it being corrupt, except for a few. PLEASE read the FAQ on how to extract split zip files with .001 and .002 ending and test it out for yourself before claiming that the file is corrupt. It is a long process for me to download all the movie that people claim to be corrupt to test it and find out that it works just fine.
Here’s what in the FAQ on how to extract split zip files
Opening files with .001, .002, etc endings?
- Some files comes in .001 ending example : Mulan.zip.001
With this you must download ALL the parts that are on the post. For Mulan, you must have 2 parts.
Mulan.zip.001
Mulan.zip.002
You MUST download both parts before beginning to extract. Right click on Mulan.zip.001 and extract all. This will combine .001 and .002 files together and you’ll get the content that is in the zip file.
Download 7zip to make things easier for you. Since some windows system can not handle split zip files.
DOWNLOAD 7zip
