Want To Contribue what you have to YELLOWCiNEMA?

  • Upload in single link (if is under 1GB)
  • Split file into 2 .rar or .zip if file is over 1GB
  • If softsub, put the sub in different .rar/.zip and then upload
  • If hard-subbed, the file must have “eng.hs” in the dscription

  • K-Lite Codec Pack — Will solve all codec(video) problems.
  • VOBsub — Will solve issue regarding subtitle
  • AVG 8.5 Pro ——– Protect yourself from mal-ware/virus/trojan. Good to have if you download a lot of stuff from the internet. THis will protect you. Yes Serial # is include. No this does not contain any virus. The file is straight from the AVG website.

    Where is the subtitle?

  • When you see the word “hard-subbed” in the details list of the Movie it means that the english subtitle is already hardcoded in the video file. Therefore does not require you to do anything to make the subtitle show in your player.

  • Dramas / Movies that are NOT hard-subbed needs a seperate file to show the subtitles. There are different kinds of subtitles, most commonly used here in YELLOWCiNEMA are .srt, .ass, .idx, and .sub.
  • To make sure that the subtitles shows in your player, You need to make sure that both files (the video file and the subtitle files) are in the SAME folder with the SAME Filename. See the 2 examples below.

    • Why can’t I open/watch the movie?

    - Movies comes in all types of formats (.avi, .wmv, .mkv), the player that I recommend using is VLCplayer. Download it, it should play most of the movies.

    - if the file has a (.rmvb) ending then you need real player to play it. I recommend using “Real Alternative” instead because it is smaller program then realplayer. If you need immediate help, please use the Live C-Box, if I am around I will try my best to help you.

    The Subtitle is in a foreign language and not English?

    This happens when the subs are .idx/.sub. These subtitle extentions have more than 1 langguage in the file. And the default langguage shown when played would be dependent on the one who created the file. To change the default langguage to ENGLISH follow the steps below.

    • open the video file and pause.
    • on the system tray, right click on the “DirectVobSub” icon ( little green arrow pointing upper left).
    • the list of subtitles will be shown and then select english.
    • watch and enjoy!

    If you are using the VLC player you can change the subtitle to English.

    In VLC. Right click in the middle of the video ===> Video ==== > Subtitle ===> Select English.

    Subtitle are out of sync!

    If they are please inform me by making a comment on that movie post. Then wait and I’ll go re-time the sub for you. OR you can try doing it yourself and then posting the new sub in the comment. I use this site to re-time .srt sub. http://submerge.delarue-berlin.de/

    Why is this HK movie in MANDARIN! I HATE YOU SPACE!!!

    Do not complain about Hong Kong film that has mando version release first and stop requesting for canto version of movies that don’t even exist yet in DVDrip form. Mando version DVDrip ALWAYS come out before CANTO DVDrip. It is the law. How long does it take? Average 3-4 weeks. No one knows, it could be longer. Your complaining and requesting will NOT make the CANTO release come out any faster! When the CANTO version of HK movies comes out. It WILL get posted. Cheers

    Can you please upload the rest of the subtitle for :NAME OF DRAMA: ?

    YELLOWCiNEMA is NOT a subbing group. We do not MAKE subtitles for the dramas and movies you see here. We put the subtitle links here with the raw video to make it convenient for everyone. We have NO CONTROL as to when subtitle will be release. There is no use in requesting subtitles. New subtitles realeased by the fansubbers to the public will be posted to their respective drama/movie. Kindly stop asking us when the subs will be posted it will be posted when it is available.
