[HK-Movie] Rebellion (2009)

Jimmy (Calvin Poon) is a triad leader in the East District; one of the most notorious district in Hong Kong. Joining him are four other leaders: Café (Paul Wong), Jupiter (Conroy Chan), Sa Chi (Jun Kung) and Man Sing (Anson Leung). Jimmy’s underground business operations are assisted by his talented wife, Cheong Wah (Ada Choi) and are the wealthiest among all the leaders.

One day Jimmy got shot on his head and Cheong Wah immediately appoints Jimmy’s right hand man, Po (Shawn Yue) to hunt down the gunman. After Jimmy’s death Cheong Wah becomes the temporary leader and nominates Po as a new leader, a decision which is not welcomed by everyone. Suddenly an unexpected dispute of who to lead the triad spreads over the five gangs and this leads to violence and bloodshed.

Meanwhile, the policemen are gearing themselves to arrest the gang leaders and crippling their illegal business operations after the violence worsens. They station themselves in the airport, waiting to arrest Cheong Wah and other leaders. What is the fate of the triad leaders and their business operations? Will Po find the gunman and succeeds in becoming the new triad leader?
