Korean auteur Lee Myung-se takes visual storytelling to new levels in DUELIST, a tense, beautiful story of crime, intrigue, and star-crossed love.   1. If you want to see real sword fights you may be disappointed, this movie is nothing like “the house of the flying…” and others of that kind. This is a very interesting movie, with an amazing cinematography, specially the scenes where the two main caracters duel, it’s a mix of dancing with fighting, but in a good way, it’s really well done. I highly recommend it!

  2. Wow. I own this movie on DVD. It is sad, and enigmatic, and funny and the cinematography is like a piece of art. I really recommend this, especially if you’re a fan of Wuxia-films (like “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” or “Hero”).
